WHY YOU SHOULD EAT LEMONS EVERYDAY

There’s always lemons in my house hold, because they are not only nutritious but also make every dish even tastier!
Due to it’s high phytonutrient (beneficial plant compounds), vitamin C and fibre content (esp. pectin) lemons have been shown to have many health benefits:
🍋𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵:
• Due to it’s high vitamin, Fiber and phytonutrients (hesperidin & diosmin) content
• Might assist lowering cholesterol
• Anti-inflammatory/ Antioxidant, supports cellular energy production, improves cell signalling and carbohydrate metabolism, can prevent scaring
🍋 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮:
• Vitamin C promotes the uptake of iron from foods in the intestine
• Citric acid might support hydrochloride acid production and keep your stomach environment nice and acidic, to ensure that all food is broken down properly
🍋 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵:
• If ingested with pulp, the containing Fiber Preston (soluble Fiber) can improve digestion and bowel movements and also supports better blood sugar control
